Classe '95 Francesco è dotato di grande musicalità e versatilità e si destreggia bene sia nella musica sacra e da camera che nel repertorio operistico, grazie anche all’ottima presenza scenica e alla naturalezza con la quale gestisce il palcoscenico. Fornito di una vocalità brillante che combina caratteristiche tipicamente da buffo con una buona gestione della linea musicale e del fiato spazia in diversi repertori dando il meglio di sé nei ruoli di agilità e nel sillabato. Ha inoltre un’ottima capacità di lavoro di squadra.
Consegue il diploma Triennale in Canto Lirico presso la Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado conseguito ad Ottobre 2020 con il punteggio di 110 e Lode e il conferimento della Menzione Speciale assegnatagli dalla commissione. Collabora dal 2018 con l’Università Cattolica di Milano, rivestendo il ruolo di “Scholar” delle voci maschili formando i coristi dello Studium ed esibendosi come solista o in formazione all’interno dei concerti organizzati da UC.
Partecipa all'edizione 2021 del Concorso Etta e Paolo Limiti e vince il Premio Speciale Fondazione Luciano Pavarotti che gli consente di iniziare a collaborare con l’associazione in diversi concerti tenuti presso la Casa Museo Luciano Pavarotti. In questa stessa occasione vince il ruolo di Marco nel Gianni Schicchi di Puccini che debutta a Ottobre 2021 presso il Teatro degli Arcimboldi di Milano, sotto la direzione artistica di Sabino le noci e la direzione del Maestro Beatrice Venezi.
Nel 2022, scelto dal baritono Nicola Ziccardi entra a far parte del progetto OMAT, che mira ad affiancare e supportare giovani cantanti che muovono i primi passi nel mondo dell'Opera.
L'attività concertistica, cominciata fin dal primo anno di studi, lo porta, per quanto riguarda la musica sacra e da camera, ad affrontare repertori che spaziano da Händel a Mascagni, dando il meglio di sé nel repertorio francese di Ravel e Poulenc. Ha modo di affrontare anche repertori contemporanei con Corigliano, per la musica da camera e Benetti, del quale esegue La Traviata Norma nel ruolo di Alfredo presso il Teatro L'Elfo di Milano. A suo agio nei ruoli mozartiani ha affrontato Masetto, Leporello e Don Giovanni dal Don Giovanni, Figaro da Le Nozze di Figaro e Don Alfonso da Così fan Tutte. Dotato per i ruoli brillanti ha avuto modo di debuttare Belcore da L'Elisir d'Amore e Malatesta dal Don Pasquale di Donizetti e Figaro e Fiorello dal Barbiere di Siviglia di Rossini.
Fonda e dirige il gruppo Corale a voci miste Èuncoroparticolare. Oltre a coordinarne le attività e a rivestire il ruolo di direttore si occupa della formazione tecnica. I coristi del gruppo raggiungono livelli tali da collaborare con altre realtà corali a livello professionale. Il gruppo attualmente conta trenta elementi in attivo e ha vita lunga essendo un progetto nato nel 2012, negli anni del Liceo.
Parla inglese a livello scolastico e ha conseguito nel 2020 un certificato TCF di livello C1 in francese presso l'Institut Français di Milano.
Gifted with great musicality and versatility, he juggles well both in sacred and chamber music and in the Opera repertoire, thanks also to the excellent stage presence and the naturalness with which he manages the stage.
Triennial Diploma in Lyric Singing at the Claudio Abbado Civic School of Music achieved in October 2020 with a score of 110 cum laude and the conferment of the Special Mention assigned by the commission.
He attended the Steiner school where he approached music and theater from an early age. During his high school years he met Eugenio de Giorgi, with whom he studied Commedia dell’Arte and Theater by Dario Fo and who involved him in various editions of the Mercatorum Festival in Val Brembana. In the same years he began some private courses in Lyric Singing, first with the Soprano Dan Shen as Countertenor (not having finished the mute of the voice) and then with the Baritone Massimo Pagano who prepares him for entry to the Claudio Abbado Academy.
At the Civic School of Music Claudio Abbado studies first with the Tenor Vincenzo Manno and then with the Soprano Patrizia Zanardi, with whom he is still attending the MA.
At the Catholic University he plays the role of "Scholar" of male voices, forming choristers for the concerts of the Studium and performing as a soloist or in formation within the concerts. Among these activities, the concert held for the centenary of the foundation of UC, held under the direction of M ° Beatrice Venezi, stands out.
He participates and wins the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation Special Prize which allows him to start collaborating with the association in various concerts held at the Luciano Pavarotti House Museum. On this same occasion he wins the role of Marco in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi.
He debuts the role won with the Etta e Paolo LIMITS competition under the direction of M°Beatrice Venezi.
He participates and wins two cognitive auditions, one conferred by ASLICO at the Teatro Sociale in Como and one conferred by M ° Claude Cortese at the Opera National du Rhin Strasbourg.
Bayreuth Festival Scholarship - 2022: Claudio Abbado was nominated by the Civic School of Music and won the scholarship awarded by the Wagnerian Association of Milan to attend the Wagnerian festival in Bayreuth from 17 to 22 August 2022.
Since the first year of the Academy he has been involved in countless concert activities.
He performs sacred music concerts ranging from Händel to Mascagni; also for chamber music the repertoire ranges from baroque to contemporary composers such as Corigliano. Having particular ease in the Mozartian roles he made his debut in different contexts Masetto, Leporello and Don Giovanni from Don Giovanni, Figaro from Le Nozze di Figaro and Don Alfonso from Cosi fan Tutte. He approaches Puccini with the Pavarotti Foundation performing extracts from Boheme, in the role of Marcello. At the Arcimboldi he made his debut as Marco from Gianni Schicchi. Under the direction of Maestro Denu Lee, made his debut as Belcore from Donizetti's L’Elisir d’Amore and with Voce All’Opera Figaro from Il Barbiere di Siviglia by G. Rossini. From Verdi made his debut as the Baron Duphol in Traviata. Also in the Opera he had the opportunity to work with the contemporary repertoire making his debut as Alfredo in La Traviata Norma by the composer M.Benetti.
He founds and directs the Èuncoroparticular Choral group for mixed voices . In addition to coordinating the activities and playing the role of director, he deals with technical training, also involving other guest professionals.The choristers of the group reach levels such as to collaborate with other choral realities on a professional level. The group currently has thirty active elements.
With three peers he founded the vocal quartet U.Q.P. with whom he organizes and carries out cabaret-style concerts.The group ranges from the Madrigal genre (in this formation Francesco uses the countertenor formation to perform the Soprano line) to the Barber-shop Quartet.
Skills Equipped with a brilliant voice that combines typical buffo characteristics with a good management of the musical line and of the breath, he ranges in different repertoires giving his best in the roles of agility and in the spelling. He has excellent teamwork skills as well as developed leadership skills.
Languages English school level. In 2020 he obtained a C1 level TCF certificate in French at the Institut Français in Milan.
